My son qualified for the first time for the MAWA Eastern Nationals this past weekend. On page three of the Eastern Nationals information sheet, they list the seeding scheme for the Eastern National Championships. Does anyone have experience with this? I thought I was knowledgeable around the mats, but I can make no sense of it. Are they listed in the grid in 'seeding' order? If so, this doesn't look quite right. Are they listed in 'bracket order'? If so, I'm not sure where byes fit in. Help, please?!?!

Congratulation, this is my boys first time at the ENats as well. First get yourself a copy of a 16 man bracket sheet. Then get an update from any of the major websites (PA, MAWA...) to figure out who placed top 4 from every other region. Then going right down the page, fill in the names of the kids from their region finish exactly as they appear in the MAWA ENats guide. All 4 regions wrestle back to 6th place therefore, should not have any byes, unless several from 1 region do not advance, or small class at regionals. It will make much more sense once you write it down. If you need help, call me 302-242-8027, I can help you with it. Jody Wilson - Smyrna
