No Excuses
Although much of his story belongs in the Motivational Quotes section of this site, he deserves more. It took an article on a site about innovation and creativity to make me realize this is something the Delaware wrestling community might want to hear about.
Kyle Maynard is just like a lot of other high level athletes we hear about so often: gifted football player, state champion, NCAA wrestler, champion weightlifter... except he was born without hands or feet. Kyle has published his lifestory, Heart of a Champion. Although it is a wrestler's story, this is an amazingly inspiring story for anyone, probably relevant to the wrestling parent struggling with the demands of parenting, a career, and personal goals.
